Recently, the Brazilian customer visited the GREENSORT manufacturing base to conduct the Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) for the GS-3000 heavy-duty single shaft shredder.
This heavy-duty single-shaft shredder adopts low-speed high-torque cutting principle, featuring a robust welded heavy frame, solid one-piece rotor and heavy-duty gearbox drive system, which delivers stable tearing force to tackle dense, compressed aluminum can bales. Equipped with a heavy hydraulic pusher system, it ensures consistent and steady feeding, effectively avoiding material floating and rotor jamming. The replaceable wear-resistant alloy blades are precision fitted with adjustable cutter gaps, paired with customizable mesh screens to accurately regulate finished particle size. The machine also integrates intelligent PLC control with overload protection and auto-reverse function for anti-jamming, ensuring safe, continuous operation.
The acceptance test was prepared in strict accordance with the customer’s requirements. Baled aluminum can scrap was fully prepared on site, and ton-bag feeding was adopted for the full-load material test to verify the actual throughput and shredding performance of the machine.
During the test, the GS-3000 single shaft shredder ran stably. It achieves a processing capacity of 10 tons per hour for aluminum can bales. The machine can efficiently shred both compressed aluminum can bales and loose aluminum scrap. The shredded output features a low percentage of fine particles, which fully meets the customer’s strict requirements on material size and greatly reduces metal loss during subsequent melting in furnaces.
Multiple continuous material feeding trials were completed within one day. All performance indicators met contractual specifications, and the FAT was successfully finished. The Brazilian customer expressed high satisfaction with the machine’s throughput and shredding performance.
The customer plans to arrange payment tomorrow. Equipment sea freight shipment will be scheduled within one week.
