How Gantry Shears Work
Operation involves a largely automated, high-efficiency cycle:
Loading & Compaction: Materials are loaded into a feeding box, where a hydraulic lid or side cylinders compress the scrap.
Feeding & Shearing: A pusher moves the material, and a massive vertical blade (delivering hundreds to thousands of tons of force) slices it.
Repetition: The cycle repeats automatically for continuous processing.
